Car had a flat battery (true story) Recently returned home from a few weeks away, went to head to the shops but alas, my car had a flat battery. I went to the kitchen and got a spatula and stuck it under the tyre. Eventually one of the young ones asked me why I had done it... "I'm just trying to turn it over" Not even a smile....walked straight out the room.
