5 year old daughter made up her own joke A few years ago I told my kids: Q: What do you call a cow with no legs? A: Ground beef! My daughter, instead of laughing, asked me to explain the joke (sometimes they would laugh just because they recognized the cadence of a joke, not because they understood the pun). I explained that beef comes from cows, etc. Once she understood, she was quiet for a minute and gave me this gem: Q: What do you call a chicken with no legs? A: An egg on the ground!
