My 10 year old came up with this soccer question: If you could decide during a soccer game, that the ref could only ever point towards your side, or your opponent's side, which would you choose? I said, my opponents side of course, right? Because that means every single foul gets called against the other team! He said no. Because the one time you want the ref to point towards your side, is after you score, the ref will point back at the center spot (aka towards your side). So even though every foul will go against you, you know the other team can never score so at worst you will only ever tie 0-0. Any dads out there feel free to try stumping your soccer loving kids with that!
