While doing a DIY project in my backyard... I tried several different trowels to apply stucco. The first, made of rubber, clung to the stucco. I bought one with a wooden blade. It was a bit smoother, but I still wasn't satisfied. So I bought a metal one and it worked fabulous. You know what they say, trowel and error!
