When a dad DMs for D&D So yesterday I was DMing a D&D session... one of my players is a paladin and summoned a steed to ride to a dungeon. The party arrived and left the steed outside. when they left the dungeon there was a group of pirates who ambushed them, and the steed was dead. When the paladin asked the pirates "did you kill my steed?" the pirate captain replied "Nay." My players wanted to stab me in real life. I regret nothing.
