Long John the pirate Long John loved his life as a pirate. The freedom, the absolute lawlessness. He really enjoyed the lifestyle. Then, one day, his ship was boarded and captured by a ship sponsored by the English Crown. He recognized some of the crew. Former mates that had joined this mission - same pillaging and lifestyle, but sponsored by the King of England. He tried it for a while but felt constrained and unhappy. So he went to his cabin and shed private tears.
