Based on true events "The eyelash wish superstition originated from the people's delusion of the myth. That if you lose an eyelash, you should put it on the back of your hand and make a wish. If the lash falls off neatly, your wish will come true. However, if the lash gets trapped anywhere, it is believed that your wish won't be granted." September 5, 5pm, a balcony on university residence: Guy 1 was born on October 28. We were all smoking in the balcony - some of us were high, some not. Guy 2 was not. Guy 2 pointed at Guy 1's face and slowly brushed under his eye saying, "tera baal hai idhar" (you have a hair here). He brushed the eyelash off of Guy 1's face and threw it off the 14th floor balcony. "What about the wish?" I said to Guy 1 "Oh yeah", said Guy 1, he looked at Guy 2 and asked expectantly, "What about my wish?" "Your what?" Guy 2 said. "My wish!", Guy 1 said, "jo tune baal nikala" (the hair you took out). "Oh, right", Guy 2 nodded earnestly. He looked at Guy 1 and said with utmost sincerity - "Happy birthday"
