The gold throne There was a small kingdom on a tropical island. The peasants lived in simple thatched huts. The king sat on an enormous throne made of solid gold. A villager stole the throne to get rich, but couldn't figure out how to sell the throne without getting caught. The police were looking for the thief, so he hid the throne in his attic. The police came to his hut. Just as he opened the door for them, the heavy throne crashed through the straw ceiling and crushed him. Moral of the story? People who live in grass houses shouldn't stow thrones.
