My new puppy Ella has a new nickname. I call her Minnow, because Ella Minnow Pees. (I'm a middle school teacher who showed my student my puppy's picture on day 1. I came up will the joke a couple of weeks ago and now students ask how Minnow is doing, and then they LAUGH!) Yesterday a student asked me "Where are the rulers?" Me: Probably on their thrones. I got a death stare but I heard her telling her mom later in the day. And this is why I teach middle school!
