My 7yo daughter's "dad joke" My 7 yo and 14yo daughters... 7: "What comes, but never comes back?" 14: What? 7: "Your dad." 14 and me: Reference: My oldest 2 daughters (14 and 15) do not have a present dad and they make a lot of jokes about it that my younger kids have unfortunately/embarrassingly picked up on as normal humor. My 7yo has no idea there is any inappropriate undertone. She stated that she made it up after changing a joke her friend told her to make the punchline, "Your dad" instead of the original punchline of something about time. The accidental genius/burn though...
